ORDER

Invoking the jurisdiction of this Court under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, the petition is filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondent police to register a case based on his complaint dated 17.12.2015. 2.It is apparent to note that a complaint dated 17.12.2015 was lodged and the respondent police has assigned C.S.R.No.28 of 2016 on 11.01.2016.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that despite serious allegations levelled in the complaint, the respondent police has not given much importance and no case is so far registered.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner has not co-operated with the respondent police so as to investigate the case.

5.Keeping in view of the nature of the complaint, this Court find it is better to issue direction as sought for by the petitioner to register a case forthwith provided any prima facie case is made out.

6.Accordingly, the respondent police is directed to register a case based on the petitioner's complaint dated 17.12.2015, provided any prima face case is made out and take up the investigation within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
