ORDER

By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioner's grievance is that he has been singularly discriminated while the adjacent occupants are provided with electricity supply and he has not been granted one.

3.Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that petitioner's occupation is fortified by the certificate of the village officer and that he has also paid the necessary charges for obtaining electricity connection and his application is pending consideration of the 2nd respondent. 2/4

4.Mr.L.Jaivenkatesh, the learned standing counsel takes notice for TANGEDCO.

5.This Court now directs the 2nd respondent to consider the application of the petitioner in accordance with law and take a decision on the same within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
