By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2. This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to pass an order on the petition in O.A.No.8 of 2009 on merits.

3. Though several grounds have been raised in the Writ Petition, now, the learned counsel for the petitioner would only seek to direct the respondent to pass an order on the petition in O.A.No.8 of 2009, which is pending from the year 2013.

4. Mr.M.Maharaja, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent and would submit that the request of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, directs the respondent, to consider the petition in O.A.No.8 of 2009 filed under Section 64(1) of HR & CE Act and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion with regard to the merits of the claim made by the petitioner. 6.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
