ORDER

This petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent police to register the FIR based on the complaint given by the petitioner on 26.09.2022.

It is seen from the records that the petitioner had filed an application under Section 156(3) of Cr.P.C. before the Judicial Magistrate, Thiruthuraipoondi and by an order dated 28.12.2022, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruthuraipoondi had directed the respondent police to conduct the preliminary enquiry and find if any cognizable offence is made out and accordingly, an enquiry was conducted and a report was also filed before the concerned Court by the respondent stating that no offence has been made out in this case.

This Court is of the considered view that the petitioner cannot once again seek for a direction for registration of FIR, in view of the above development. Hence, liberty is granted to the petitioner to work out her remedy by filing a private complaint before the concerned Court and 2/4

proceed further in accordance with law.

This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
