This petition is filed under Section 378 (4) Cr.P.C, to grant leave to prefer an appeal against the judgment dated 06.07.2023 made in C.C.No.3585 of 2014 on the file of the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, Fast Track Court at Magistrate Level-V, Saidapet.

2. Heard Mr.B.Singaravelu, learned counsel for the petitioner.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that though the accused admitted his signature on the cheque, the learned Trial Court Judge acquitted him on the ground that the complainant had not proved the transaction between him and the accused.
