ORDER

This application has been filed by the applicant to extend the time to execute the security bond on behalf of the petitioner as directed in the order dated 24.3.2025 passed in O.P.No.646 of 2023.

According to the applicant, he is the power of attorney agent of the petitioner Gita Sankaran and the Original Petition, being O.P.No.646 of 2023, was filed by the Principal to grant Letters of Administration in respect of the Will dated 1.9.2007 executed by late P.Sankaran. The said Original Petition was allowed on 24.3.2025 directing the Principal to execute a security bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- in favour of the Assistant Registrar (Original Side) of this Court. Subsequently, an application, being A.No.4309 of 2025, has been filed by the applicant to recognise him as power of attorney agent of the Principal, Gita Sankaran, and to permit the power agent to execute the security bond and receive Letters of Administration on behalf of the Gita Sankaran. By the order dated 4.9.2025, the said

application was allowed. According to the applicant, he is unable to execute the security bond within the time stipulated by this Court. Therefore, he has filed the present application to extend the time to execute the security bond.

3. This Court carefully perused the records.

4. Considering the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of the application and, in the facts and circumstances of the case, this application is allowed. Time to execute the security bond is extended for a period of one month from today.
