Respondent Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of mandamus directing the respondent to grant the educational loan to the petitioner based on the educational loan application of the petitioner dated 14.12.2015 within a reasonable time.

ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed before it.

When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though the application seeking educational loan was submitted as early as on 14.12.2015, the same is yet to see the light of the day. In response to the said submission, the learned counsel for the respondent / Bank submitted that the petitioner has not produced the relevant documents as sought for by the respondent / Bank and as and when those documents are produced, the application of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

In view of the submission of the learned counsel for https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the respondent, the petitioner is directed to produce all the relevant documents as sought for by the respondent / Bank within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of the relevant documents, the respondent / Bank is directed to consider the petitioner's application seeking educational loan dated 14.12.2015 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks within a period of two weeks thereafter.

The writ petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
