ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to quash the impugned Order dated 27.07.2017 in respect of Cholampattu Village Panchayat President post which is reserved for General Women in Sankarapuram Panchayat Union, Villupuram District concerned and consequently, direct the first respondent to reserve the Cholmpattu Village Panchat President Post for Scheduled Caste [General], which is situated in Sankarapuram Panchayat Union, Villupuram District.

2. When the matter is taken up today, there is no representation for the petitioner.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent, on instructions, submitted that now the area comes under different village and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this Writ Petition.

4. Recording the submissions of the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
