When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Public Prosecutor (Puducherry) submitted that the trial in C.C.No.540 of 2020 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Puducherry, had been completed and that the petitioner was acquitted on 09.12.2025, as a result of which, the prayer sought in this petition has become infructuous. 2.
Recording the aforesaid submission made by the learned Public Prosecutor (Puducherry), this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
