PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to take necessary action based on petitioner's representation dated 25.4.2016 to prevent the overloading of passengers in the private and transport corporation buses in our State.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) This nature of general petition was filed even earlier by the petitioner, being W.P.No.7194 of 2016, which was withdrawn on 26.2.2016 to follow up the matter "administratively alone with the concerned authorities".

2. It is, thus, clear that we were of the view that no judicial intervention is required, though the petitioner may continue to follow up the matter administratively.

3. Once again present petition has been filed and we consider this a complete wastage of judicial time. The petition is dismissed with costs of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees five thousand only) to be deposited with the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre, Madras High Court Campus, within two weeks.
