2. It is brought to the notice of this Court that the District Collector has gone out of Country to attend a meeting and hence, the District Revenue Officer is present before this Court. An affidavit has been filed by the second respondent. The relevant portions are extracted hereunder: "9. In this case, I submit that the Patta transfer order was issued by the 2nd Respondent on 28.05.2025. Since the 2nd Respondent order was issued after the date of the interim order dated 09.04.2025, the District Revenue Officer, under proceedings No.COLREV-COLR/23670/2025-2 dated 17.09.2025 has cancelled and set aside the 2nd Respondent Order No.P.Mu.A2/3427/2024 dated 28.05.2025. The actions taken were not in wilful or wanton disregard of the interim order dated 09.04.2025. The delay in awareness was due to lack of timely communication and not due to any intent to disobey the orders of this Hon'ble Court.
10. I respectfully submit that the suit in O.S.No.273 of 2006 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Perambalur, which was relied upon by the Petitioner in support of W.P.No.12724 of 2025, has since been dismissed on 19.09.2025. I further submit that since the interim order dated 09.04.2025 was not brought to the knowledge of this Respondent, the impugned order came to be passed inadvertently. The Respondent, therefore, tenders the unconditional and sincere apology for the same." 3/5
3. In the light of the above, no further orders are required to be passed in the contempt petition.
Accordingly, this contempt petition is closed. 10.10.2025 gpa 4/5
