Heard Mr.K.R.Krishnan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Diwakar, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents. By consent of the learned counsel for both sides, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner seeks for a direction to dispose of the statutory appeal preferred by the petitioner before the first respondent, challenging the order passed by the second respondent, dated 06.03.2015, rejecting the petitioner's application for grant of extension of time.

3. The said Appeal Petition has been sent by the Registered Post and it is seen that it has been received by the Office of the first respondent, as per the postal acknowledgment card.

4. In the light of the same, without going into the merits of the case, there will be a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's Appeal Petition, on merits and in accordance with law, if the same is in order, and pass appropriate orders, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner or to her authorized representative, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
