The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus forbearing the respondents 1 to 3 from erecting huge electricity tower in the petitioner's agricultural land in patta No.317 in S.No.198/1, 203/7B of 1 acre land and to consequently direct the respondents to consider
the petitioner's representation dated on 30.08.2019. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking Writ of Mandamus forbearing the respondents 1 to 3 from erecting huge electricity tower in the petitioner's agricultural land, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the respondents to provide fair compensation to the petitioner, if they are going to erect electricity tower in the petitioner's land.
3.The learned Standing Counsel for the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board would submit that erection of electrical towers is under progress and fair compensation will paid in favour of the petitioner after completion of the erection process.
4.Recording the submission made by the learned Standing Counsel for the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board, this writ petition is closed with direction to the respondents to pay fair compensation in favour of the petitioner, within a period of four weeks from the date of completion of the erection of the electrical towers.
5.The writ petition is closed with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
