ORDER

The petitioner-wife has presented this petition to withdraw H.M.O.P.No.58/2023 pending on the file of Family Court, Nagapattinam and to transfer it to Sub Court at Hosur.

2. The petitioner and the respondent got married on 14.02.2022. The respondent-husband was working in IT company at Chennai, and the petitioner-wife was employed in IT company at Bangalore at the time of marriage. After marriage, they shifted their residence to Chennai. They both led a happy married life but few months later, there arose differences between the parties and their matrimonial life ran into rough weather. The petitionerwife was then forced to leave her matrimonial home and since then, she started living with her parents at Hosur. The respondent is a permanent resident of Nagapattinam. Since the petitioner and respondent resided at Nagapattinam for a short while, the respondent filed HMOP.No.58 of 2023 before the Family Court, Nagapattinam, for divorce.

3. Now the petitioner who is before this Court for transfer of Family Court proceedings would submit that she, being a resident of Hosur, finds it difficult to travel all along to Nagapattinam from Hosur to attend the hearings. Hence, this petition.

4.Taking into consideration the difficulties expressed by the petitionerwife in travelling from Hosur to Nagapattinam to attend the proceedings in H.M.O.P.No.58 of 2023, I am inclined to allow this petition

5. Accordingly, the proceedings in H.M.O.P.No.58/2023 pending on the file of Family Court, Nagapattinam is now withdrawn from its file and is transferred to the file of Sub Court at Hosur. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
