ORDER
The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking a direction to the respondents herein to investigate and file the final report in Crime No.479 of 2015 on the file of first respondent police.
2.Heard the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on either side.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the defacto complainant's brother has died in suspicious circumstances. Hence, on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner/ defacto complainant dated 09.10.2015, a case has been registered in Crime No.479 of 2015 for the offences punishable under Section 174 Cr.P.C. However, the respondent has not shown any interest to investigate the matter and lay a final report. Hence, the petitioner has come up with the present petition for the relief as stated above.

4.At this juncture, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that alteration report has been filed on 09.03.2016 for the offences punishable under Section 302 of I.P.C. and investigation is going on. He would further submit that the respondents are not able to fix the accused and hence, he prays for six months time to complete the investigation and file a final report.
5.Considering the submissions made on both sides, the first respondent is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.479 of 2015 and file a final report, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
