Prayer : The Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to provide police protection to the petitioner for surveying and measuring his land comprised in S.No.797/11, situated at Nallur Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District by the revenue authorities as per the petitioner's complaint dated 29.11.2021. ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to provide police protection to the petitioner for surveying and measuring his land comprised in S.No.797/11, situated at Nallur Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District by the revenue authorities as per the petitioner's complaint dated 29.11.2021.
2.The petitioner sent a representation to the police and the revenue authorities on 29.11.2021 seeking Police protection and
also deputation of Surveyor to survey the petitioner's land in Survey No.797/11. This property has been purchased by the petitioner's grandfather in document Nos.6867 of 1926 and 1379 of 19361936. After partition, the property was apportioned to the petitioner in Document No.542 of 2021. When the petitioner was surveying his land, one Krishnappa and Chandirappa, who are no way connected to the said property, have objected the same.

In view of the same, the petitioner approached the Thasildar and gave a representation along with the supporting documents and thereafter, the petitioner was directed to remit the survey fee, which has been made on 07.09.2021. The Revenue Authority registered to survey and ear-mark the property of the petitioner. Due to the obstruction raised by Krishnappa and Chandirappa, the second respondent police, Hudco Police Station, Krishnagiri District, denied for providing police protection. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 submitted that there is no complaint and requisition from the revenue authorities seeking police protection. In the event, the revenue authorities seeking for police protection, necessary protection would be granted. 5.
In view of the same, the petitioner is directed to approach the Thasildar to depute a Surveyor for conducting survey of the property and also to inform the same to the second respondent police, Hudco Police Station, Krishnagiri District, who shall provide necessary police protection after confirming the same with the revenue authorities. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of .
