ORDER

Invoking the jurisdiction of this Court under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, the petition is filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondent police to register a case based on his complaint dated 04.03.2016. 2.It is apparent to note that the complaint lodged by the petitioner has been assigned C.S.R.No.57 of 2016 on 07.03.2016 by the respondent police.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that despite serious allegations levelled in the complaint and though C.S.R.No.57 of 2016 has been assigned by the respondent https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

police, the respondent police has not given much importance and no case is so far registered.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that investigation is under progress.

5.Keeping in view of the nature of the complaint, this Court finds that it is better to issue a direction as sought for by the petitioner to register a case forthwith provided any prima facie case is made out.

6.Accordingly, the second respondent police is directed to register a case based on the petitioner's complaint dated 04.03.2016, provided any prima face case is made out and take up the investigation within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
