Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, praying to direct the first respondent to register a case based on the complaint dated 23.10.2015 preferred by the petitioner and take action on it. ORDER

Invoking the jurisdiction of this Court under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, the petition is filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondent police to register a case based on her complaint dated 23.10.2015. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the complaint has been given as early as on 23.10.2015 and despite serious allegations levelled in the complaint, the respondent police has not given much importance and no case is so far registered.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that investigation is under progress.

4.Keeping in view of the nature of the complaint, this Court finds that it is better to issue a direction as sought for by the petitioner to register a case forthwith provided any prima facie case is made out.

5.Accordingly, the first respondent is directed to register a case based on the petitioner's complaint dated 23.10.2015, provided any prima face case is made out and take up the investigation within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
