This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner challenging the summon in M.C. No.266 of 2017 IR No.17/2017 under Section 107 Cr.P.C. dated 16.06.2017 issued by the first respondent.

2. On a perusal of the record, it shows that the petitioner was summoned by the first respondent on 21.06.2017 at 3.30 p.m. Now, as the period is itself lapsed, the prayer sought for by the petitioner in the Criminal original petition became infructuous.

3.In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
