ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed for a direction to the second respondent to register and investigate the petitioner's complaint dated 19.02.2016.

On 27.06.2016, this Court passed the following order:

"On perusal of the records, this Court feels that it is incumbent on the third respondent to return the original certificates of the petitioner, failing which, this Court has no option, but to direct the second respondent police to register FIR against the third respondent, in view of the law laid down by a Single Judge of this Court in A. John Paul and others vs. State of Tamil Nadu, represented by the Inspector of Police, E-5, Foreshore Estate Police Station, Chennai and another in Crl.O.P. No.9920 of 2012. 2.

Hence, the third respondent is directed to hand over the original certificates of the petitioner, either earlier or across the bar and report before this Court on 14.07.2016.

Post for orders on 14.07.2016 @ 2.15 p.m."

Today, when the matter was called, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the third respondent-college has handed over all the certificates to the petitioner, in view of which, the petitioner is withdrawing the complaint given by her to the police and also this Criminal Original Petition. The learned counsel has also made an endorsement to that effect.

In view of the above submission and endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
