In continuation of the earlier order passed by this Court on 13.12.2022, it is reported now that the case has been taken on file by XV Metropolitan Magistrate, Georgetown, Chennai in C.C.No.1771 of 2022 1/3

and the case is posted now for appearance of the accused on 30.01.2023. The respondent-police, undertakes to serve the summons by then and also take effective steps to complete the trial without delay. The trial Court is reminded that this case is being unnecessarily delayed earlier. 2.

In view of the same, the trial Court to give preference and to complete the trial within a stipulated period. Accordingly, the Contempt Petition is closed.
