This petition has been filed under Section 482 of Crl.P.C., seeking a direction to the respondent police to file a charge sheet in the case in Crime No.136/2014 as early as possible.

2. Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that totally two accused are involved in this case and the second accused has been arrested and the first accused is still absconding. Further, he has submitted that the investigation has also been completed. However, he requested time to file a final report in the case.

3. This Court has considered the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and perused the averments of the petition.

4. There is no bar to disclose the absconding accused in the absconding column of the charge sheet.

5. In view of the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the respondent is directed to file the final report within a period of 3 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, this petition is disposed of.
