These applications have been filed to condone the delay of 180 days in setting aside the abatement caused by the death of the first respondent viz., Kannan; to set aside the abatement caused due to the death of the first respondent; and to bring on record the legal representatives of the deceased first respondent, as respondents 4 and 5 in the Second Appeal.
2. According to the petitioners, the first respondent, Kannan died on 26.08.2024 and the respondents 4 and 5 are the legal representatives of the deceased first respondent.
4. Despite service of notice to the respondents, none has entered appearance.
6. Therefore, Since I am satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of these petitions, the delay is condoned and all the Civil Miscellaneous Petitions are allowed.
