ORDER

When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner was already granted anticipatory bail by this Court, vide order dated 21.08.2025 in Crl.O.P.No.23135 of 2025 for the offences registered in Crime No.27 of 2025 and this petition is filed for the same allegation.

The learned counsel for the petitioner had not clarified regarding the grant of earlier anticipatory bail application of the petitioner, however, he submitted that the present anticipatory bail application is filed for the Crime No.Not Known of 2025.

In view of the above, it is clear that the petitioner had filed this anticipatory bail application by suppressing the earlier anticipatory bail petition, hence the petitioner is directed to pay a sum of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only) to the credit of District Legal Services Authority, Chennai with two weeks from today and submit the proof of the same before the learned V Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai. 2/4

The learned V Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai shall take necessary steps towards such payment to be made by the petitioner. 5.
