This writ petition is filed for a mandamus, directing the respondent to return the original sale deed in respect of the sale deed registered as Document No.2793/2009 on the file of Sub-Registrar, Ashok Nagar, Chennai.

2. Today, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has drawn the attention of this Court to the proceedings of the respondent dated 04.11.2016, wherein the request made by the petitioner has been rejected and would submit that, if the petitioner is aggrieved by the order of the respondent, he would challenge the said order in accordance with law.

3. Recording the above said submission, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
