ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to investigate the case and file the final report in Crime No.5 of 2017 dated 23.02.2017, which is pending on the file of the respondent police in accordance with law.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the respondent has registered a case in Crime No.5 of 2017 as early as on 23.02.2017, no final report has been filed till date. Hence, the present petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the first petitioner, police has registered the FIR in Crime No.5 of 0217, in which the investigation is under progress. Hence he seeks three months time to file a final report before the Jurisdictional Magistrate Court. 2/4

4. Recording the same, the respondent police is directed to file final report before the Jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
