With the consent of both sides, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.
2.The petitioners have come up with the present writ petition for issuance of writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to issue a patta in the name of the petitioners with respect to the property situated at S.No.300/9B9, Puzhudhivakkam Village and S.No.165, Soorai Village.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioners limited the scope of the prayer and sought for direction to direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.10.2015 and to issue patta in the name of the petitioners in the property situated in S.No.300/9B9, Puzhudivakkam Village admeasuring about 2.36acres and S.No.165, Soorai Village, Madhuranthagam Taluk, Kancheepuram admeasuring about 6.01acres. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4.Heard the submissions of learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Additional Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
5.Since the scope of the prayer is very limited, this court without going into the other aspects and merits of the case, directed the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 23.10.2015 and pass appropriate orders with regard to issuance of patta to the petitioners in respect of the property cited supra by affording opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as to the necessary parties, if any, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
