O R D E R

The petitioner herein apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence under Sections 409, 420, 120(b) of IPC and Section 5 of the TNPID Act, Sections 3, 5, 21(1), 21(2), 21(3), 23 and 25 of the BUDS Act, in Crime No.16 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police. 1/4

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petition for anticipatory bail by an accused against whom a non-bailable warrant was issued by the Trial Court, is from 13.03.2025.

3. The learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in London and is not aware of the issuance of the non bailable warrant against him.

4. The Additional Public Prosecutor (Puducherry) appearing for the respondent has now disclosed the fact regarding the non-bailable warrant.

5. Considering the facts of the case, since the petitioner has now put on notice about the pendency of the non bailable warrant, he can approach the trial court for the recall of the warrant. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
