Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the letter dated 11.11.2016 issued by the 1st respondent which states that "Check off will now be limited to OBC (Other Backward Classes) employees (recruited as OBCs)" alone and quash the same as arbitrary, unreasonable and direct the 1st respondent to allow all OBC employees of the petitioner Federation, irrespective of the category of their recruitment, to participate in the check off exercise to be held hereafter. This writ petition has been listed under the caption "for withdrawal" on the basis of the letter dated 21.10.2019 given by the learned counsel for the petitioner before the Registry.
