ORDER
This writ petition has been filed challenging the order passed by the third respondent in Notification No.14/SCS1(1)/2025 dated 15.07.2025, thereby cancelling the candidature of the petitioner under Tamil Nadu Under Graduate Medical Selection for the year 2025-2026 in any category and also she will not be allowed for medical admission under Tamil Nadu Under Graduate Medical selection for the next three academic years.
2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
3. The petitioner had completed her +2 and to pursue her medical degree, she applied for National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET). She had qualified in
NEET and applied for MBBS under the Tamil Nadu Under Graduate Medical Selection for the year 2025-2026. At the time of applying, she had uploaded her nativity certificate dated 16.05.2025, as if it was issued by the office of the fourth respondent. On scrutiny of her application, the third respondent found the nativity certificate, which was uploaded by the petitioner as fake. Thereafter, the fourth respondent was directed to verify about the genuineness of the nativity certificate which was produced by the petitioner.
4. On verification, the fourth respondent found that the Nativity Certificate No.TN-320250507860 dated 16.05.2025 was not issued to the petitioner and it was issued in favour of one Keerthana D/o Balasubramanian.

In view of the above, the third respondent had rightly rejected the candidature of the petitioner and held that she will not be allowed under Tamil Nadu Under Graduate Medical Selection for the next three academic years and also necessary legal action is being proceeded. Hence, this Court finds no infirmity or illegality in the order passed by the third respondent in Notification No.14/SCS1(1)/2025 dated 15.07.2025 and the writ petition is devoid of merits and is liable to be dismissed.
