ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent Police to file the charge sheet under Section 173 of Cr.P.C. against the accused persons as named in the FIR No.1148 dated 03.07.2021 registered on the basis of the petitioner's complaint within a specific time frame.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the respondent has registered a case in Crime No.1148 of 2021 as early as on 03.07.2021, no final report has been filed till date. Hence, the present petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, police has registered the FIR in Crime No.1148 of 2021, in which the investigation is under progress. Hence he seeks two months time to file a final report before the Jurisdictional Magistrate Court. 2/4

4. Recording the same, the respondent police is directed to file final report before the Jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
