Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to issue patta in favour of the petitioner's minor sons, Viz., Jamindar, Karuppusamy and Manikandan represented by their natural guardian and next friend P.Pavalakodi in respect of land situated in S.No.36/7, Rayampuram Village, Ariyalur Taluk and District to the extent of 0.29.0 Ares (72 1⁄2 Cents) by disposing the written representation made by the petitioner on 18.07.2016 within a stipulated time.

By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2. This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to issue patta in favour of the petitioner's minor sons, Viz., Jamindar, Karuppusamy and Manikandan represented by its natural guardian and next friend P.Pavalakodi in respect of land situated in S.No.36/7, Rayampuram Village, Ariyalur Taluk and District to the extent of

0.29.0 Acres (72 1⁄2 Cents) by disposing the written representation made by the petitioner on 18.07.2016 within a stipulated time.

3. Though several grounds have been raised in the Writ Petition, now, the learned counsel for the petitioner would only seek to direct the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 18.07.2016.

4. Mr.R.A.S.Senthilvel, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents and would submit that the request of the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

5.Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, directs the respondent, to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 18.07.2016 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion with regard to the merits of the claim made by the petitioner.
