This petition has been filed to quash the charge sheet in C.C.No.1489 of 2017 on the file of the VII Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai, thereby taken cognizance for the offence punishable under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act, as against the petitioner.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that because of the compromise entered between the parties and the trial has been ended in acquittal by an order dated 06.09.2019. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous.
