The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences under Sections 296(b), 351(3) & 316(2) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita in Crime No. Unknown / 2025, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that, no case has been registered against the petitioner and only petition enquiry is pending. He further submitted that if the petitioner participates in the enquiry, appropriate action will be taken in accordance with law.
3. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to appear before the respondent police on receipt of summons and to co-operate with the enquiry. The enquiry shall be completed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No coercive steps shall be taken against the petitioner unless and until any cognizable offence is made out. 08.09.2025 nvi 2/4
