ORDER

The petitioner who is arrayed as an accused has come forward with this petition for quashing the FIR in Crime No.8 of 2016 for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 294(b), 323 and 506(i) of IPC.

2.Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that on the basis of the complaint given by the second respondent, a case has been registered against the petitioner in Crime No.8 of 2016 for the offences punishable under Sections https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

147, 294(b), 323 and 506(i) of IPC stating that the petitioner along with others formed themselves unlawful assembly in front of K.S.S.Petron Private Limited and attacked him. 3.Heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent.

4.On perusal of the FIR, it is seen that the case has been registered on 13.01.2016 and investigation is going on. In such circumstances, I am of the view that it is too pre-mature to quash the FIR in Crime No.8 of 2016. Hence, this petition deserves to be dismissed.

5.In the result, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
