This Petition has been filed under Section 372 of the Indian Succession Act, 1925 and under Order XXV Rule 6 of O.S.Rules to grant succession certificate in favour of the petitioners.

2. The petitioner is the son of Late Khaleel Ahmed and Zamruth Begum K. The said Kaleel Ahmed died intestate. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present petition for grant of succession certificate in his favour with the power to collect the securities with dividends on and negotiate and transfer the securities specified in the schedule. 3.After notice, one Mr.L.Vinoth, learned counsel entered appearance for respondent No.2 and he has reported no objection for grant of succession certificate in favour of the petitioner. There is no appearance on behalf of the respondent No.1.

4.The petitioner examined himself as P.W.1 and marked

Exs.P.1 to P.6 viz., Ex.P1 is the computer generated death certificate of Mr. A.Khaleel Ahmed. Ex.P2 is the photocopy of the death certificate of Mrs. K.Zamruth Begum. Ex.P3 is the photocopy of the Legal Heir Certificate of Mr. A.Khaleel Ahmed.

Ex.P4 is the photocopy of the Legal Heir Certificate of Mrs. Zamruth Begum.

Ex.P5 is the photocopies of the letter dated 11.08.2022 sent by the Chief Manager of State Bank of India, Nungambakkam Branch, Chennai to me informing the Bank accounts and locker held by the deceased Khaleel Ahmed and the deceased Zamruth Begum.

Ex.P6 is the copy of paper publication effected in one issue of Tamil daily "Makkal Kural" dated 13.11.2023.

5. He has further stated in his evidence that he has not filed any other petition before any other Court seeking the same relief.

6. Considering the averments made in the petition and the documents filed by the petitioner, I am satisfied that the petitioner has succeeded the Estate of the deceased Late A.Khaleel Ahmed. Therefore, the petition is ordered as prayed for and a direction for grant of Succession Certificate to the petitioner with the power to collect the securities with dividends on and negotiate and transfer the securities specified in the schedule to the petition

is issued. He is directed to render accounts once in a year. 02.02.2024 dn
