(The third respondent is impleaded Vide the order of this Court dated 25.09.2023 in WP/26462/2023 by NSSJ) Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent-2 to consider the application given by the Petitioner in Na.Ka.No.680/2023/A2 dated 21.12.2022 and consequently to direct the respondent-2 to register the death of petitioner's father Ramasamy and issue the death certificate of Late.Ramasamy whom is father of Petitioner to petitioner within time as stipulated by this Hon'ble High Court.

ORDER

The petitioner has applied for obtaining the death certificate of her father Ramasamy, who according to the petitioner had died on 03.04.2008. This death does not appear to have been registered and for registering the same, the petitioner applied to the Tahsildar, Annur on 21.12.2023. The Tahsildar has issued a notice dated 10.03.2023 to the petitioner to appear for an enquiry and this is now under challenge. 2.Mr.G.Ameedias, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3 made a statement that the Tahsildar concerned has only invited the petitioner for an enquiry and the petitioner is now challenging the same. He also underscored that the petitioner is now seeking to register the death of her father, after some 15 years after his demise.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has also participated in the enquiry.

4.This Court now suo motu impleads the Tahsildar, Annur, Coimbatore District as the third respondent.

5.Mr.G.Ameedias, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the third respondent.

6.The second respondent is now required to take a call on the application made by the petitioner on 21.12.2022 within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. 25.09.2023 Tsg 3/4
