ORDER

This writ petition is filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to instruct the third respondent to cancel the registration of forged General Power of Attorney Document executed in favour of the fourth respondent bearing Document No.14253 of 2019 within a stipulated time.

2. The petitioner purchased the property bearing Plot No.852, ad-measuring an extent of 1800 sq.ft comprised in Old S.No.109/1, New Survey No.128/42, situated at Ayyancherry Village, Saidapet Taluk, Chengalpet District from M/s.Shastri Bhavan Staff House Site and Welfare Society by the registered sale deed dated 13.06.1985, vide Document No.4461 of 1985. While that being so, the fourth respondent impersonated the petitioner, as if he executed a Power of Attorney in his favour. Alleging the same, the petitioner lodged a complaint dated 05.10.2021 before the second respondent. On receipt of the same, it is pending for enquiry.

Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, the second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the said complaint, after issuance of notice to the petitioner and the fourth respondent and after giving an opportunity of hearing to them, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
