In paragraph 3 of the affidavit, it is stated that the written statement could not be filed in time because it was necessary to trace documents which are more than 23 years old. Upon considering such reasons and being satisfied that sufficient cause is shown, this application is allowed as prayed for. Consequently, the Registry is directed to receive the written statement of the fourth defendant.
