ORDER
By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to convert old H.S.D. pattas and issue New Ryotwari patta in the name of the 1st petitioner with respect to Plot Nos.145, 148, 153 and 155 and in the name of the 2nd petitioner with respect to Plot Nos.146, 147, 156 and 157 by considering petitioner's representation dated 24.01.2025 and consequently direct the respondents to update the patta details in the Tamil 2/6
Nilam Software / website records maintained by them.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for petitioners that petitioners submitted a representation before the respondents on 24.01.2025 seeking conversion of house site patta to ryotwari patta and update the same in their names in the Tamil Nilam online land records. It is stated that respondents have not considered the same till date. Aggrieved, petitioners have filed the present writ petition.

At the outset, it is submitted by Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader for respondents that house site patta comes with a string of conditions attached and they would consider the petitioners' representation keeping in view the conditions to be duly complied with and pass appropriate orders within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. Agreed to by the learned counsel for petitioners.

In view thereof, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider petitioners' representation dated 24.01.2025 keeping in view the conditions that have to be duly complied with in the house site patta and thereafter proceed to pass appropriate orders in accordance with law after 3/6
affording the petitioners and other interested parties if any a reasonable opportunity of hearing within a period of 12 weeks from the date of uploading of web copy without waiting for the receipt of certified copy. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the case and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the matter on its own merits and in accordance with law. No costs.
