Prayer:- This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.07.2022 as per the recommendation of the second respondent in Na.Ka.No.A1/38409/2019 dated 21.12.2021.

ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking direction to the first respondent to consider his representation dated 15.07.2022 as per the recommendation of the second respondent in Na.Ka.No.A1/38409/2019 dated 21.12.2021.

2.The case of the petitioner is that he entered into the service in the Forest Department as Forester in the year 1981 and promoted as Forest Ranger in the year 2006. After rendering 30 years of service, the petitioner retired on 28.02.2011. The grievance of the petitioner is that one Mr.Natarajan, who is junior to him, had entered the service as Forester in the year 1981 and promoted as Forest Ranger in the year 2008, but he is receiving higher pension. There is anomaly between them in salary as well as the pension. Therefore, the petitioner made a representation to the respondent, but till date, the representation was not considered. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice if this Court issues a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.07.2022 and dispose of the same within a reasonable time as fixed by this Court. 4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court without going into the merits of the case directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 15.07.2022 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
