Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the Government Letter No.5626/G2/2010-4 dated 20.06.2011 passed by the first respondent herein and quash the same and further direct the respondents to allow the petitioner to continue as Sericulture Worker till the completion of 60 years as per FR 56(i).

O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking to quash the order passed by the first respondent dated 20.06.2011 and to direct the respondents to allow the petitioner to continue as Sericulture Worker till the completion of 60 years as per FR 56 (i).

2.When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is now more than 60 years old and hence nothing survives for adjudication.

3.In view of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.

No costs.

Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
