Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to issue sub divisional patta in respect of land in Survey No.329/2C in Doc.No.3838/2009 situated at Polur, Karaipoondi Village, Thiruvannamalai District, by passing orders on the petitioner's application dated 08.05.2023. 1/5

O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the second respondent to effect sub-division and to issue patta in his favour in respect of the property situated in S.No.329/2C covered by the Doc.No. 3838/2009 at Thiruvannamalai District, by considering his online application dated 08.05.2023.

2. The petitioner submitted online application on 08.05.2023 seeking sub-division of property purchased by him and issuance of patta, the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. MrD.Gopal, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the online application of the petitioner will be considered, on its own merits, within a time frame fixed by this Court.

In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the second respondent to consider the online application of the petitioner dated 08.05.2023 and pass final orders, on its own merits, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
