O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for police protection based on the representation given by the petitioner on 05.04.2023.

2. Heard Mr.C.Prabakaran, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents 1 and 2.

3. The petitioner wants to construct boothies in order to reach Amaravathi river based on the order passed by first respondent through proceedings dated 09.12.2022. Even in the said order, it has been specifically stated that the said construction should not be stopped and if there is any disruption, police protection can be sought for. Pursuant to the same, the petitioner made a representation dated 05.04.2023 to the second respondent. Since the same was not acted upon, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the proceedings of the first respondent dated 09.12.2022, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to submit a representation/complaint before the second respondent in person along with all the relevant documents and also a copy of this order. The second respondent shall act upon the same within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of the complaint from the petitioner.

This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
