ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by Dr.VINEET KOTHARI,J.,) The grievance raised by the petitioner in the present writ petition is the non-decision of the Application filed under Section 14(1) of the Securitisation and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002 (SARFAESI Act) by the respondent/District Collector. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Ms.A. Sri Jayanthi, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent stated that Notice was issued to the petitioner in this regard on 22.10.2019 directing the petitioner to appear on 29.10.2019, against which, the petitioner sought one month's time to produce the relevant documents.

Ms.D. Kalaivani, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that Notice was already issued to the petitioner and Enquiry is on with the District Collector. 4.
In these circumstances, we dispose of the writ petition, directing the respondent/the District Collector,The District Magistrate, Chennai Collectorate, Chennai District to conclude the proceedings expeditiously and the petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent / District Collector, Chennai District on 10.12.2019, and co-operate for the proceedings. A period of six weeks is allowed to the District Collector to pass orders under Section 14 of the SARFAESI Act i.e., on or before 31.01.2020.
