(This case has been heard through video conferencing) The Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to direct the 2nd respondent herein to conduct further investigation on the complaint dated 07.07.2019 preferred by the petitioner herein.

2. Heard Mr.K. Kathiresan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S. Karthikeyan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. Today, when this petition came up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1-3 on instructions would submit that in respect of the complaint dated 01.07.2019 given by the petitioner, the 2nd respondent police has initiated enquiry and the same is pending on his file in Current paper No.1438 of 2019. In these circumstances, it will be appropriate to direct 2nd respondent/the inspector of police, J3, Guindy Police Station, Chennai, to complete the enquiry within a specific period.

4. In view of the above, the 2nd respondent/the inspector of police, J3, Guindy Police Station, Chennai, is directed to complete the enquiry in Current paper No.1438 of 2019 within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
