ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 28.02.2023 and to consider the petitioner's benefits and arrears resulting from delayed promotion.

2.The contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner joined as Lecturer in Textile Technology on contract basis on 17.02.2005 and thereafter, due to personal reasons, he submitted resignation letter, dated 09.11.2018 and relieved from the service with effect from 03.05.2019. However, the petitioner has not paid with the last pay certificate, leave encashment, gratuity and other retirement benefits. Therefore, when he approached the 2nd respondent to enquire about the same, he was informed that he is not entitled to leave encashment and gratuity since he was resigned from service voluntarily. In this regard, the petitioner has given representation to the 2nd respondent on 28.02.2023, but the same has not been considered and no order has been passed till date. Hence, seeks direction of this Court.

3.Considering the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 28.02.2023 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
