ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.P.Anbarasan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents.

2. The learned State Government Pleader, on instructions of the Tahsildar, Thiruvarur, submits that notice under Section 7 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act has been issued to the encroachers of the pond at S.No.600, Vijayapuram, 20 Sundaravilagam Circle, Thiruvarur District, and steps are already taken for eviction of the encroachers. The process of removal of encroachment would be completed within one month.

3. In view of the fact that action is already initiated by the authority, no further order on merits is necessary.

4. The writ petition accordingly stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
