ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register the complaint dated 04.04.2014, given by the petitioner and to investigate the same in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. It is seen that these petitioners have given a complaint dated 05.04.2014, on which no action appears to have been taken by the Police. On a reading of the complaint dated 05.04.2014, there are prima facie allegations of land grabbing.

4. Under such circumstances, the petitioners are directed to appear in person before the Inspector of Police, Anti-Land Grabbing Cell, Kanchipuram District, along with this order and lodge a fresh complaint, containing the very same contents as stated in the previous complaint dated 05.04.2014. On receipt of such complaint, the same shall be enquired into and action be taken thereon in accordance with law.

In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
