Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.08.2024 for issuance of patta in respect of the properties covered under a deed of Partition Document No.2138 of 2020 dated 02.01.2020 and 6711 of 2010 dated 08.04.2010 in respect of B schedule property therein in favour of the petitioner. 1/5

O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to consider her representation dated 26.08.2024 for issuance of patta in respect of the properties covered under the partition deeds dated 02.01.2020 and 08.04.2010.

2. By consent of both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as respondents, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that after the death of her parents, partition was effected between her and her siblings under partition deeds dated 02.01.2020 and 08.04.2010. Based on the same, the petitioner submitted a representation to the respondents dated 26.8.2024 seeking issuance of patta in respect of the properties allotted to her share under the above mentioned partition deeds and the same has not been considered till date. Therefore, the 2/5

petitioner is before this Court.

4. Mr.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner for issuance of patta will be considered on its own merits and appropriate orders will be passed.

In view of the above submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 26.08.2024 and pass final orders, after issuing notice to all interested parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
